Anyone Seen My Self-Esteem?

wow, what a DAY! i can’t believe how much luck i had in a short 24 hours! what am i yammering on about, u may ask? well, here’s the scoop!

I noticed Marion Raven, that Norwegian songstress/former M2M member, is coming to town 2 promote her solo debut album "Here I  Am", and The Star Newspaper was giving away free CDs and 2 tickets to her album showcase this 18th June at J.W. Marriot Hotel (KL). So I just called , trying my luck (which didn’t seem to be around for a couple of weeks, damn driving test I keep failing! and after the 6th attempt (I’m persistent alright ;-D) I got through and won the tickets and an autographed CD!! I’m going to meet and snap pics with the drop-dead gorgeous singer I’m on cloud nine!

Now, the depressing (but eventually turns happy) part, repeat driving test I maybe brainy and a book worm, but I just haven’t gotten a hold on this driving thing! But today was me lucky day As usual, the day started a bit late (typical Malaysians, especially the JPJ people, where’s the punctuality??) I mean, we’re scheduled to repeat at 8.30am , but those JPJ people thought "Hey, let’s fool around and procrastinate stuff so the drive candidates gets irritated!" or sthing like that 10.15am-FINALLY my turn! I was determined not to make an ass out of myself by passing this 3rd attempt and NOT having to bear the humiliation of repeating for the 4th time (yes, I PUBLICLY announce, I repeat 3 times and aren’t ashamed of it!! muahahhaa i’ve lost it, big time :-P) and so I did pass :-)) 2nd good news, all in one day. The day just could get any better.. (or could it? :-D)

and MIRACULOUSLY, it DOES! As I arrived at home, I received a big envelope, from MARA, the ONLY thing i’ve been waiting for oh-so anxiously for all the while biting my nails like crazy "in the name of God, Most Gracious & Most Graceful" and so I opened the envelope, and guess what? - I got the MARA Scholarship!! I’m going 2 Banting MARA College 2 do IB Diploma this 21st June 4 2 years , then fly to (possibly) UK/Ireland Alhamdulillah, Praises Be to God!! I’m living a dream come true! The pieces just fit together so conveniently. I mean, I planned all this since Form 4, and I just did as planned. Sure, there were worries of NOT getting the scholarship, and NOT getting the desired set of Grades for SPM, yada yada. But now I guess I’m just freakin’ lucky :’-) God is Totally Awesome

Now, sounds like a novel book, eh? More like "Ripley’s Believe It or Not" This makes life worth living - suprises and the uncertainty of the future. And I still can’t believe all of this to this very moment!! :-)) I’m lovin’ every second of it, to be frank :-D  This is, yet, the BEST day of my 17 years, 3 months, and 5 days  of my life! All praises to God Amen.
